Job summary

Laing O'Rourke, in partnership with Select Security, seeks a Regional Security Supervisor to manage our security team across the North & Midlands of England. You will lead night-shift officers, plan patrols across multiple sites, and ensure safety and continuity of service.

The role requires strong leadership, good IT skills, and a valid SIA licence along with a full UK driving licence. Immediate start and a comprehensive benefits package are available.

Regional Security Supervisor (North & Midlands)

Laing O'Rourke, working in partnership with Select Security, are looking for a regional security supervisor to run and manage our security team across the north and midlands of England.

As our regional supervisor, you'll support and oversee security across several construction sites, sorting schedules, leading and motivating a team of dedicated security officers, and making sure we keep things running smoothly and safely.

If you're a proven leader with a good work ethic, decent computer skills, and can juggle schedules like a pro, we'd love to hear from you.

What We're Looking For

• Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of security officers on night shifts
• Patrol: Do mobile security patrols to different client sites throughout the night
• SIA Licence: Hold and maintain a valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence
• UK Driving Licence: Full, valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Scheduling: Sort out and allocate security personnel to meet client needs and keep service levels high
• Report Management: Use your computer skills to create and maintain incident reports, activity logs, and other paperwork as needed
• Client Relations: Build and maintain good working relationships with the project by staying in touch with the Security Supervisor, dealing with concerns and making sure their security needs are covered
• Emergency Response: Coordinate and respond to security-related emergencies, keeping everyone and everything safe
