Infrastructure Gateway Ltd in Wellingborough is seeking a Regional Scheduler to plan, schedule, and coordinate operational resources across a defined region, ensuring the safe, efficient and timely delivery of utility works. The role acts as a central point of contact between field teams, customers, contractors and internal stakeholders, ensuring work aligns with priorities and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and scheduling software.
• Experience in administrative, scheduling, planning or coordination role.
• Experience managing multiple tasks in fast-paced environment.
• Experience maintaining accurate records and databases.
• Experience communicating effectively with customers, field teams and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and allocate operational work activities to field-based teams and contractors across the designated region.
• Optimise workforce utilisation to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of utility works.
• Reschedule and reallocate work in response to changing priorities, emergency incidents, resource availability, and business demands.
• Act as the primary point of contact for scheduling, workforce planning, and resource coordination within the region.
• Liaise with operational managers, supervisors, field teams, contractors, and customers to ensure effective work delivery and service excellence.
• Monitor work progress and adjust schedules proactively to minimise delays and achieve operational targets.
• Ensure all work is scheduled in line with customer commitments, operational priorities, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate scheduling records, workforce data, and work management system updates.
• Communicate schedule changes, work status, and operational updates to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance scheduling efficiency, resource utilisation, and customer service performance.
