Job summary

Marlowe Environmental Services - Part of Mitie Company in Birmingham is seeking a Regional Planner / Scheduler to coordinate workloads for field-based engineers and ensure efficient service delivery across client accounts. You will plan PPM and reactive works, liaise with clients, coordinate subcontractors, monitor KPIs and maintain accurate records, while ensuring timely scheduling of emergencies.

This role requires 40 hours per week and is grounded in a Real Living Wage environment to support

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, scheduling or logistics-based role, ideally within facilities management or water treatment.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple workloads effectively.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word, with a commercially focused and team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works in line with company KPIs, ensuring efficient use of engineer diaries.
• Liaise with clients to book work in advance, ensuring all necessary job information is captured and communicated accurately.
• Coordinate subcontractors where required, including raising purchase orders and organising resources.
• Monitor planning performance, including KPIs, revenue tracking, and return visits, ensuring targets are consistently met.
• Maintain accurate records, order parts where required, and ensure emergency and one-off works are scheduled within agreed timeframes.
