As a Regional Sales Executive, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth through the sale of new and used materials handling equipment, service contracts, and value-added solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively promote and sell the full range of new and refurbished materials handling equipment, including counterbalance trucks, warehouse trucks, and associated solutions across your designated territory.

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, forecasts, and sales activities within Salesforce and other company systems.
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments, suppliers, and colleagues to deliver an outstanding customer experience and ensure the smooth completion of orders.
  • Promote additional revenue opportunities through the sale of complementary products and services, including finance solutions, training, inspections, and aftermarket support.
  • Ensure a professional handover of equipment and maintain customer contact post-sale to maximise satisfaction, retention, and future business opportunities.
  • Represent Briggs professionally at customer meetings, exhibitions, open days, and other business development events as required.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested to support the achievement of business objectives and sales growth.
What will help you to excel in this role:
  • Proven success in a field-based sales role, ideally within the materials handling, capital equipment, industrial equipment, logistics, or related sectors.

  • Good understanding of warehousing, storage, distribution, and logistics operations.
  • Experience in territory management, account planning, and new business development.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities, with confidence in preparing quotations and business proposals.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities while working independently in a field-based environment.
  • Sound understanding of commercial agreements, finance packages, rental contracts, and lease purchase solutions.
  • Proactive, resilient, and results-driven, with a passion for identifying and converting sales opportunities.
  • Confident user of CRM systems, with experience maintaining accurate customer records and sales pipelines.
