Smiths (Gloucester) Ltd is seeking a Regional Sales Executive to drive new business across Bristol and Gloucestershire, building strong customer relationships and presenting tailored waste management solutions. You’ll spend time meeting customers, identifying opportunities and growing revenue for the Waste Management division.

Requirements include a full UK driving licence, a proactive sales mindset and the ability to manage accounts and exceed targets.

Job description

As a Regional Sales Executive, you'll be responsible for developing new business opportunities and growing existing customer relationships across Bristol and Gloucestershire.

You'll spend your time out meeting customers, identifying opportunities, presenting solutions and helping businesses manage their waste more effectively. Full support will be provided, so we're more interested in your sales ability, motivation and enthusiasm than the number of years you've spent in the industry.

A company electric vehicle or car allowance will be provided, depending on your preference.

What You'll Be Doing

• Generating and converting new business opportunities across your region
• Building long-term relationships with customers and prospects
• Identifying customer requirements and presenting tailored waste management solutions
• Managing and developing existing accounts to maximise opportunities
• Keeping up to date with market trends
• Maintaining an accurate sales pipeline and customer records within our CRM system
• Working closely with operational teams to ensure excellent customer service
• Consistently working towards and exceeding sales targets
