Job summary

YTL UK is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to work on a major capital investment programme across the Wessex Water region, including Bristol, Bath, Yeovil, Poole and Taunton. You will manage pre- and post-contract requirements up to £30m, handle cost forecasts and contract changes, and participate in regular finance meetings with the Commercial Team.

Ideal candidates have quantity surveying experience, a degree in the field, and familiarity with NEC contracts, with travel across sites and offices

Qualifications

• Degree in quantity surveying or equivalent qualification.
• Experience with NEC contracts is preferred.
• Experience in change and risk management and negotiating tenders.

Responsibilities

• Manage the contract payment process across several projects and forecast cost values.
• Report contract changes, opportunities and risks while meeting financial deadlines.
• Attend regular financial meetings with senior team members and align with PMs, designers, engineers and estimators.
