Job summary

YTL UK is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to help develop a major capital investment programme for Wessex Water. You will be involved in pre- and post-contract work on projects up to £15m and report on costs, changes and risks.

You will manage payments, forecast value, and collaborate with project managers, designers, engineers and estimators across multiple sites in the Wessex Water region including Bristol, Bath, Yeovil, Poole and Taunton.

Qualifications

• Quantity surveying experience in construction.
• Degree in quantity surveying or similar qualification.
• Experience with change and risk management and tender/final account negotiation.
• Leadership and ability to build professional relationships.
• Knowledge of health and safety related to the role.
• RICS/ICES membership is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre- and post-contract requirements on major capital projects up to £15m.
• Handle contract payments, forecast costs and report changes, opportunities and risks.
• Attend regular financial meetings with senior team members.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Designers, Engineers and Estimators.
