Job summary

Marston's PLC seeks an Operations Manager to oversee 23 pubs across the South Coast, Thames Valley and South East Home Counties. You will drive commercial and operational performance, maximising sales and profit while maintaining safety and brand standards.

You’ll lead Self-Employed Partners, coach local teams, and translate trading insight into practical actions. Regular regional travel and hands-on pub leadership are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Commercial credibility with direct P&L accountability.
• People-first leadership with coaching and development.
• Strong relationship skills with independent business owners.
• Operational know-how to maintain standards and safety.
• Ability to turn financial and guest data into action.
• Experience delivering change in a multi-site setting.
• Understanding of different operating models in hospitality.

• Own area commercial and operational performance across 23 pubs.
• Drive sustainable sales and profit growth and manage P&L.

• Coach teams, set clear expectations, and monitor standards.
• Lead initiatives, investment landings, and reopenings for sites.
