Avant Homes is seeking a Regional Planner for the West Midlands, based in Coleshill. The role focuses on developing, agreeing, implementing and delivering land acquisition and development requirements through successful planning approvals that meet group and regional targets.

You will work with regional teams and external providers to ensure applications align with Local Authority requirements and planning appetite, driving sites from enquiry to start while managing risks and opportunities.

Competenze

Minimum of 2 years' experience in Town Planning.
Experience with private sector consultancy, housebuilder or local authority.
Proven ability to secure commercially deliverable planning approvals.

Mansioni

Prepare and present planning reports and assessments to enable approvals.
Coordinate with regional teams and third-party consultants to prepare applications.
Negotiate planning gain contributions under guidance of senior directors.
Manage liaising with Local Planning Authorities and drafting planning obligations.
Monitor policy changes and maintain KPI-driven development targets.
Deliver site-start programmes ensuring planning matters meet timescales.
