Job summary

Lichfields is offering a Planner/Senior Planner opportunity in their Birmingham office. The role covers preparing planning applications, site appraisals, planning strategies and development plan representations for a range of clients across the UK.

The successful candidate will provide advice on planning and land use while working with developers, housing providers and local authorities, while pursuing MRTPI status with support from a dedicated mentor.

Qualifications

• Candidate has at least a 2:1 or equivalent at first degree.
• Master's degree in RTPI/RICS accredited subjects is preferred.
• Working towards chartered MRTPI status is supported.

Responsibilities

• Prepare planning applications and appeals; site appraisals; planning strategies and representations.
• Provide planning and land use guidance to clients including developers, housebuilders and investors.
• Support local planning authorities and public/third sector bodies through all planning stages including Environmental Impact Assessments.
