Job summary

Linnaeus Veterinary Limited is seeking a Senior Area People Partner to lead people strategy across London and the South East. The role is hybrid, with 3 days per week on-site travel and 2 days remote, supporting multi-site operations and executive teams.

You will partner with hospital leadership, coach managers, manage employee relations, and drive workforce planning, change initiatives, and inclusion across the network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or related field.
• CIPD or equivalent qualification desirable.
• At least five years' experience in a People/HRBP role.
• Experience supporting multi-site or regional operations.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
• Proven experience managing complex employee relations cases.
• Experience supporting organisational change and transformation.
• Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
• Data-driven with ability to interpret people metrics and turn insight into action.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operating Unit and hospital leadership to develop and deliver people strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Support workforce planning, talent management, succession planning and leadership development.
• Coach and advise managers on performance management, employee relations and people best practice.
• Lead complex employee relations matters, including investigations and disciplinary processes, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and policies.
• Support organisational change initiatives, restructures and business transformation projects.
• Collaborate with Centres of Excellence, Legal, Payroll and Benefits to deliver a great associate experience.
• Use people data and insights to identify trends, mitigate risks and recommend solutions.
• Drive associate engagement through listening initiatives, action planning and continuous improvement.
• Champion diversity, equity and inclusion while embedding the Mars Five Principles across the business.
• Deliver coaching and training to leaders on people management, compliance and leadership capability.
