Job summary

SBFM is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to oversee soft FM delivery across the Swindon region, leading a sizeable team, driving service quality and profitability.

The role requires travel to client sites, occasional weekend work and flexibility in hours, with responsibility for health, safety, environmental and quality standards while developing client relationships and ensuring financial targets are met.

Qualifications

• Experience in successfully leading a large team delivering value.
• IOSH Managing Safely or willingness to complete within 3 months.
• Knowledge of CDM regulations and safety compliance.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to report on WIP.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Implement the company strategy to reach objectives.
• Review financial forecasts and targets.
• Lead, motivate and manage your people to deliver objectives.
• Provide clear roles, KPIs, feedback and rewards for performance.
• Address poor performance with HR guidance and disciplinary action when needed.
• Manage absence and ensure health, safety, quality and environmental compliance.
• Develop client relationships and drive new business to meet budgets.
• Attend customer meetings and align service offerings with client needs.
• Improve profitability via estimating, project management and cost control.
