Job summary

City Facilities Management is seeking a Divisional Operations Manager to lead field teams and deliver World Class Service across sites. You will ensure resources are managed within budget and that Health & Safety requirements are met.

You will drive maintenance and soft FM services to meet SLAs, develop talent, coach teams, and maintain strong customer relationships. The role requires strategic thinking, strong budgeting, and extensive travel across the division.

Qualifications

• Ideally degree level or equivalent in business or technical discipline.
• Experience as a Regional Manager in retail, leisure or FM.
• Experience managing a large remote team.
• Proven ability to develop client relationships at stakeholder level.
• Strong PC literacy, including data extraction and presentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent planning, organising and project management.
• Strong results focus and accountability.
• Strategic, flexible approach to business management.
• Experience with budgets and P&L desirable.
• Willingness to work flexible hours across a 24/7 operation.
• High mobility to travel within area.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance services are delivered per SLA and meet legal requirements.
• Lead Cleaning and Soft FM services per SLA and adapt to growth.
• Manage budgets at site/area/division and drive cost efficiency.
• Recruit, coach and motivate teams; optimise people performance.
• Develop divisional training and succession plans.
• Lead customer relationships and drive excellent service standards.
• Analyse performance data and act on improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate capital plans with customers.
