Job summary

Rewind Radio Ltd is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the delivery of hard FM services for commercial and residential property maintenance, M&E, and building works. You will act as the primary client contact, drive service excellence and growth, and embed safety and continuous improvement across operations.

You will oversee budgets, P&L for Hard Services, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while fostering long-term client relationships and high-performing teams.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in Hard FM or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of property maintenance, M&E services and building fabric.
• Demonstrable budget responsibility over £2M+.
• Excellent working knowledge of FM legislation, procurement and compliance.
• IOSH Managing Safely or SMSTS (minimum).

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the delivery of hard FM services, ensuring compliance with statutory and client requirements.
• Drive operational excellence across all service areas, maintaining safety, quality, and performance standards.
• Provide strong leadership, motivating teams to achieve individual and business objectives.
• Manage budgets and P&L for Hard Services, ensuring financial performance and effective resource utilisation.
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients, identifying and securing new opportunities for growth.
• Ensure robust management systems, controls, and reporting frameworks are in place for effective decision-making.
• Oversee the procurement and management of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Act as Principal Duty Holder, maintaining compliance and relevant accreditation's (e.g. NICEIC, Gas Safe, Oftec).
• Support the rollout and utilisation of Field Service Management technology to enhance efficiency and reporting.
• Work collaboratively with Cornwall Council and other stakeholders to secure ongoing business and project pipelines.
