Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring for a permanent, full-time role to support operations across London and the surrounding M25 area, with responsibilities spanning warehouses, onboarding, and project delivery. A company vehicle may be provided, or you may use your own, with mileage reimbursed.

Travel and overnight stays are part of the role. You will help cover staff absences, support recruitment, and ensure health and safety standards while contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics or similar engagement level role.
• Experience managing a team.
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritise workload.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• IT skills and working knowledge of Microsoft packages.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support across warehouses and service locations by covering staff absences, filling gaps, and delivering training.
• Assist Warehouse Managers with onboarding, staff development, and recruitment.
• Support the Regional Operations Manager and Head of Operations with canteen-related issues at DHL and HMP sites, while contributing to project delivery and continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and assist in the implementation of operational strategies.
• Ensure all relevant DHL operational documents are completed accurately and timely, including change requests.
• Ensure all delivery queries are reported to Warehouse Manager/Supervisors/Transport Team.
• Comply with all Prison Service regulations, including security.
