Job summary

JCO Healthcare is seeking a Regional Operations Manager for Scotland to lead a portfolio of care homes. You will coach Home Managers, drive care quality, ensure regulatory compliance, and monitor financial performance across the region.

The role requires a nursing qualification with an NMC Pin, and a track record of improving quality and operational metrics. Travel across North Scotland is expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience as Peripatetic/Regional Manager or similar senior leadership in the care home sector.
• Nurse qualification and a valid NMC Pin are required.
• Strong knowledge of the Care Inspectorate.
• Proven track record of improving quality outcomes and operational performance.
• Excellent leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong commercial awareness with budget management experience.
• Willingness to travel across North Scotland.

The successful candidate will provide leadership and support to a portfolio of care homes, ensuring excellent standards of care, regulatory compliance, commercial performance and team engagement across the region.

The Opportunity

About You

• Previous experience as a Peripatetic Manager, Regional Manager, Operations Manager or equivalent senior leadership role within the care home sector
• Nurse qualification and valid NMC Pin
• Exceptional knowledge of the Care Inspectorate
• A proven track record of improving quality outcomes and operational performance
• Excellent leadership, communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong commercial awareness and budget management experience
• A flexible approach and willingness to travel across North Scotland
• Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) desirable
