Job summary

Pickfords Move Management Ltd seeks a proactive leader to manage a regional branch when the Manager is away. You will drive top‑tier customer service and ensure safety, discipline and compliance with company procedures while coordinating staff and resources across a network of branches.

Applicants should have supervisory experience, a strong driving record and the ability to operate from plans and direct teams. Willingness to travel and work weekends as required is expected.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent desirable.
• Candidate will obtain valid LGV (category C or C+E).
• Candidate will obtain valid Drivers CPC Certificate.
• Compliant with tachograph procedures and Attended Basic Practical Course and passed assessment.
• Attended Advanced Packing Skills Course and passes assessment.
• Attended Supervisory/Team Leader Skills Course and passed assessment.
• Attended Customer Service training (as available) and Attended Introduction to Management training (as available).
• Attended Health & Safety/Risk Assessment training (as available) and Attended FLT training where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver superior customer service and lead a regional branch in the Manager’s absence.
• Direct and control team members; liaise with customers and maintain safety and standards.
• Ensure adherence to company procedures, discipline, workmanship and safety at all times.
• Coach, supervise and motivate branch staff; manage operations from plans/drawings.
