Job summary

Pickfords Move Management Ltd seeks an experienced branch leader to manage a regional branch in the manager's absence. You will direct staff, ensure safety standards, and liaise with customers to deliver exceptional service.

You must hold LGV Cat C/CE and Driver CPC, with supervisory and management training as desirable. The role requires flexibility, with willingness to work away from home for periods and some weekends, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
• Candidate will obtain valid LGV (category C or CE)
• Candidate will obtain valid Drivers CPC Certificate
• Health & Safety training (as available) and Attended Basic Practical Course
• Attended Supervisory/Team Leader Skills Course and passed assessment

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise branch staff to deliver superior service
• Direct and control team members, liaising with customers and maintaining safety standards
• Ensure compliance with O Licence regulations and Working Time Directive
• Ability to work from plans/drawings and instruct staff accordingly
