Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer for a days-based, Monday–Friday role in the Hinckley/Coalville area. Salary starts at £55,000 with an 18% bonus, with pension matching and company car with fuel card. The role offers extensive training and career development within an international market leader.

You will utilise your engineering experience to identify and improve machinery, equipment and manufacturing lines across multiple sites, travelling regionally to support operations.

Qualifications

• Maintenance engineering experience with electrical or mechanical background.
• Mechanical/Electrical Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing plant equipment and machinery.
• Experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance within industrial manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Travel across the region to provide support to the group's manufacturing sites.
• Provide hands-on technical support and expertise and drive Plant Operational Improvement as part of the Group Engineering function.
• Support the development of the Reliability Centred Maintenance Strategy by supporting criticality assessments and drive towards condition-based monitoring.
• Enhance plant reliability by applying modern maintenance strategies and continuous improvement techniques.
• Support new and innovative process automation initiatives.
