Job summary

E3recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer for a days-based role in the Hinckley/Coalville area. You will apply your mechanical and electrical expertise to improve machinery, equipment and manufacturing lines while working with a skilled maintenance and project engineering team.

The role offers a base of £55,000 with an 18% bonus, pension matching up to 10%, and a company car with fuel card. Training, development, and Monday–Friday site work complete the package.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Maintenance Engineer from either electrical or mechanical background.
• Ability to trouble shoot and repair manufacturing plant equipment and machinery.
• Experience in industrial maintenance within manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Travel across the region to support group sites.
• Provide hands-on technical support and drive plant operational improvement.
• Support the Reliability Centred Maintenance strategy and condition monitoring.
• Enhance plant reliability by applying maintenance best practices and CI techniques.
• Support new process automation initiatives.

Job description

This Mechanical Project Engineer position is days-based Monday-Friday, company car, £55,000 plus 18% bonus, and offers training and career development with an international market leader in their field. Key Responsibilities of Mechanical Project Engineer

• Travel across the region to provide support to each of the group’s manufacturing sites.
• Provide ‘hands-on’ technical support and expertise and drive Plant Operational Improvement as part of the Group Engineering function.
• Support the development of the Reliability Centred Maintenance Strategy by supporting criticality assessments and drive towards condition-based monitoring
• Enhance plant reliability by applying modern maintenance strategies and continuous improvement techniques.
• Support new and innovative process automation initiatives.

I would love to speak to anyone who has any of the following

• Previous experience as Maintenance Engineer from either an electrical or mechanical background
• A Mechanical / Electrical Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 Engineering or City & Guilds Level 3, BTEC Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent Naric / Enic Conversion
• Ability to trouble shoot & repair manufacturing plant equipment & machinery
• Previous experience within Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance within industrial manufacturing plant environments
