Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer for a days-based role (Mon-Fri) in the Hinckley/Coalville area. The position offers a £55,000 base salary plus an 18% bonus, a company car with fuel card, and pension match up to 10%.

You will use your engineering expertise to improve machinery and production lines across sites. Travelling regionally, you will provide hands-on technical support, drive Operational Improvement, support Reliability Centred Maintenance, and contribute to

Qualifications

• Maintenance engineering experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Mechanical or electrical apprenticeship or equivalent NVQ/City & Guilds.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing plant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Travel across the region to provide support to each of the group's manufacturing sites.
• Provide hands-on technical support and drive Plant Operational Improvement as part of the Group Engineering function.
• Support the development of the Reliability Centred Maintenance Strategy by supporting criticality assessments and drive towards condition-based monitoring.
• Enhance plant reliability by applying modern maintenance strategies and continuous improvement techniques.
• Support new and innovative process automation initiatives.

Job description

This Mechanical Project Engineer position is days-based Monday-Friday, company car, £55,000 plus 18% bonus, and offers training and career development with an international market leader in their field. Key Responsibilities of Mechanical Project Engineer

I would love to speak to anyone who has any of the following

• Previous experience as Maintenance Engineer from either an electrical or mechanical background
• A Mechanical / Electrical Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 Engineering or City & Guilds Level 3, BTEC Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent Naric / Enic Conversion
• Ability to trouble shoot & repair manufacturing plant equipment & machinery
• Previous experience within Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance within industrial manufacturing plant environments
