Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer for a days-based role (Mon-Fri) in the Hinckley/Coalville region. You will travel regionally to support the group's manufacturing sites, providing hands-on engineering expertise and driving plant improvement initiatives.

You'll work within a team of skilled technicians, contributing to reliability-centred maintenance and process automation projects, with extensive training and clear career development opportunities within a market-leading

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Maintenance Engineer from either an electrical or mechanical background.
• Mechanical / Electrical Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 Engineering or City & Guilds Level 3, BTEC Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent Naric / Enic Conversion.
• Ability to troubleshoot & repair manufacturing plant equipment & machinery.
• Previous experience within Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance within industrial manufacturing plant environments.

Responsibilities

• Travel across the region to provide support to each of the group's manufacturing sites.
• Provide 'hands-on' technical support and expertise and drive Plant Operational Improvement as part of the Group Engineering function.
• Support the development of the Reliability Centred Maintenance Strategy by supporting criticality assessments and drive towards condition-based monitoring
• Enhance plant reliability by applying modern maintenance strategies and continuous improvement techniques.
• Support new and innovative process automation initiatives.
