Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join a days-based role covering Hinckley/Coalville region. The package includes a 55,000 base salary plus an 18% bonus, with a company car and fuel card. Training and development programmes are offered.

The role involves travel across the group’s sites, hands-on technical support, and driving plant improvements within an international market leader’s engineering function.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Maintenance Engineer from either an electrical or mechanical background.
• A Mechanical / Electrical Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 Engineering or City & Guilds Level 3, BTEC Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent Naric / Enic Conversion.
• Ability to trouble shoot & repair manufacturing plant equipment & machinery.
• Previous experience within Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance within industrial manufacturing plant environments.

Responsibilities

• Travel across the region to provide support to each of the group's manufacturing sites.
• Provide 'hands-on' technical support and expertise and drive Plant Operational Improvement as part of the Group Engineering function.
• Support the development of the Reliability Centred Maintenance Strategy by supporting criticality assessments and drive towards condition-based monitoring
• Enhance plant reliability by applying modern maintenance strategies and continuous improvement techniques.
• Support new and innovative process automation initiatives.

Job description

This Mechanical Project Engineer position is days-based Monday-Friday, company car, 55,000 plus 18% bonus, and offers training and career development with an international market leader in their field.
