Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking a PLC Controls Engineer in the Hinckley/Coalville area. Days-based, Monday–Friday, with a company car and fuel card. You will use your electrical/mechanical experience to improve machinery and manufacturing lines and support multiple sites across the group.

The role offers extensive training and career development, with a strong focus on automation and process improvements. Travel across regional sites is required.

Qualifications

Maintenance engineer with electrical or mechanical background
Automation and PLC controls experience
Electrical Apprenticeship or NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 in Engineering
Ability to troubleshoot & repair manufacturing plant equipment and machinery
Experience in industrial manufacturing environments

Responsibilities

Travel across the region to support group manufacturing sites
Provide hands-on technical support and improve plant operations
Support development of Reliability Centred Maintenance and condition-based monitoring
Enhance plant reliability via modern maintenance and continuous improvement
Support new process automation initiatives
