Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is excited to help recruit a Project Engineer for a reputable Derbyshire manufacturer. You will lead site CAPEX projects from concept through handover, develop plans, schedules and budgets, and manage contractors with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

The role is site-based with some travel, 40 hours per week, core hours 08:30–16:45, Friday early finish. A competitive package includes a £46,400 base with a target bonus, pension, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Project Engineer with experience in manufacturing environment
• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification
• Experience in managing capital investment projects
• Experience of site infrastructure and utilise
• Comfortable with AutoCAD and strong communication/stakeholder management

Responsibilities

• Contractor management, site H&S compliance and stakeholder reporting

Project Engineer

Are you a Project Engineer looking for a role where you can take ownership of site projects from concept to handover, in a modern manufacturing environment with serious ongoing investment?

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established manufacturer where you will manage multiple CAPEX projects, improving safety, asset reliability and manufacturing capacity across a busy site.

The company are part of a larger group with an established UK presence, known for quality and continuous improvement, and they have recently delivered a high volume of capital projects with further major investment planned. As a result of continued success and ongoing site development, they are now looking to add a third Project Engineer into the team.

In this role you will plan and deliver projects end-to-end: building project plans, budgets and schedules, running tender evaluations, managing contractors, reporting progress to stakeholders, and leading commissioning and handover. This is a site-based position with some travel to suppliers/exhibitions when required.

This role would suit a Project Engineer from an automated or semi-automated manufacturing background, looking for a technically varied, high-ownership projects role with long-term stability and exposure to larger CAPEX work.
