Regional Managing Director - Based in Dubai, UAE

The Company

Our client is a well-established global leader in conventional and renewable off-grid power solutions, serving clients worldwide across various sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, telecommunication, healthcare, data centres, and utilities.

This position reports to the Group CEO and is based in Dubai, UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement growth strategies focusing on the UAE, Gulf Region, and export markets in Africa and Asia.
• Manage full P&L responsibilities, financial reports, and business plans to meet revenue, margin, and market share targets.
• Establish a company in Saudi Arabia, including a factory and aftermarket services for spare parts and maintenance.
• Lead the business unit team through recruitment, development, performance management, and succession planning.
• Develop and oversee channel and distribution partnerships for export markets in Africa and Asia.

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 10 years of senior management experience in mechanical or electrical manufacturing/industrial sectors.
• Proven experience in Middle Eastern and African markets, with a preference for candidates with international power or renewable energy experience.
• Experience managing full P&L.
• Fluency in English required; Arabic is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel across Africa and the Middle East.
• Experience with ERP systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience in renewables (solar, battery-hybrid solutions) or gas generators is a plus.
