Job Description:

Regional Managing Director - Based in Dubai, UAE.

The Company

Our client is a well-established global leader in conventional and renewable off-grid power solutions. The company has a strong presence and brand recognition in the off-grid power industry, servicing clients worldwide across various sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, telecommunication, healthcare, data centres, and utilities.

This position reports to the Group CEO and is based in Dubai, UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement growth strategies focusing on the UAE, Gulf Region, and export markets across Africa and Asia.
• Manage full P&L, financial reports, and business plans to meet revenue, margin, and market share targets.
• Establish a company in Saudi Arabia, including a factory and aftermarket service for spare parts.
• Lead the business unit team through recruitment, development, performance management, and succession planning.
• Develop and lead channel/distribution partnerships for export to Africa and Asia.

The Successful Applicant

• 10+ years in senior management within mechanical or electrical manufacturing/industrial sectors.
• Proven experience in Middle East and African markets; experience in power or renewable energy sectors preferred.
• Full P&L management experience.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Willingness to travel across Africa and the Middle East.
• Experience with ERP systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience in renewables (solar, battery-hybrid) or gas generators is advantageous.
