Regional Managing Director - Based in Dubai, UAE

The Company

Our client is a well-established global leader in conventional and renewable off-grid power solutions, with a strong presence in the off-grid power industry. They serve clients worldwide across residential, commercial, industrial, telecommunication, healthcare, data centres, and utility sectors.

This position reports to the Group CEO and is based in Dubai, UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement growth strategies focusing on the UAE, Gulf Region, Africa, and Asia.
• Manage P&L, financial reports, business plans, and achieve targets for revenue, margins, and market share.
• Establish a company in Saudi Arabia, including a factory and aftermarket services.
• Lead the business unit team through recruitment, development, performance management, and succession planning.
• Develop channel/distribution partnerships for export markets in Africa and Asia.

The Successful Applicant

• 10+ years in senior management within mechanical or electrical manufacturing/industrial sectors.
• Experience in Middle Eastern and African markets; experience in power or renewable energy companies is a plus.
• Full P&L management experience.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Willing to travel across Africa and the Middle East.
• Experience with ERP systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience in renewables (solar, battery-hybrid solutions) or gas generators is advantageous.
