Job summary

Essex Cares Limited is seeking a Regional Manager to provide multi-site leadership across West Essex, covering Day Centres for adults with learning disabilities, autism and older people. You will oversee managers, budgets and external relationships to deliver high quality care.

You will manage multiple sites, develop staff, present to stakeholders and drive improvements in line with ECL’s strategy. A driving licence and ability to travel across Essex are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven multi-site managerial experience in the care sector.
• Knowledge of the Care Act 2014.
• Educated to minimum Level 5 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• Business/financial knowledge and budget management experience.
• Experience managing change.
• Experience with Learning Disabilities Services and Older People.
• Supervising and monitoring staff performance.
• Strong prioritising, planning and organisational skills.
• Experience building positive stakeholder relationships.
• Full driving licence and vehicle to travel.

Location:West Essex (covering Loughton, Saffron Walden and Harlow)

Hours:Full-time 37 hours per week

Are you an experienced leader in the care industry looking for your next step?

ECL are looking for a Regional Manager to cover West Essex to provide multi-site leadership to our Day Centres.

You will be an experienced social care manager who understands the needs of older adults and working-aged adults with a learning disability and/or autism. You’ll be highly motivated to ensure high quality service delivery, whilst keeping an eye on the social care market and introducing new initiatives that strengthen performance.

You’ll have direct line management responsibility for managers who oversee the day to day running of our services, be confident managing multiple budgets and able to balance the demands of overseeing multiple operational sites. You’ll be an effective communicator, comfortable delivering presentations to external stakeholders, managing and mentoring staff, and working alongside people who access our services. A strong commercial acumen to support the delivery of ECL’s business strategy is key.

About You

To be considered as Regional Manager, youneed:

• Proven multi-site managerial experience within the care sector
• Knowledge of applicable legislation including the Care Act 2014
• To be educated to minimum Level 5 in Health & Social Care or equivalent
• Business and financial knowledge, and experience managing budgets
• Experience managing change
• Excellent and proven knowledge of Learning Disabilities Services and Older People
• Demonstrable skills in supervising and monitoring employee performance
• Prioritising, planning and organisation skills
• Experience building positive stakeholder relationships
• The ability to ensure set targets are achieved across multiple areas
• A full valid driving licence and vehicle to travel.
