Job summary

Jobtrain is seeking a Maintenance Operative to join our Property & Facilities team. This full-time, regional role involves hands-on maintenance across multiple sites, travelling between services, and ensuring buildings are safe and well-maintained.

You’ll perform planned and reactive tasks (plumbing, joinery, basic electrical work), conduct safety and compliance checks, use CAFM, and report to Service and Operations Managers. A full UK driving licence and independent work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance across multiple sites.
• Knowledge of safety, fire and compliance checks.
• Ability to work independently and manage travel.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks across sites.
• Perform safety, legionella and compliance checks.
• Provide excellent service to Service and Operations Managers.
• Log tasks in CAFM system and manage workload within SLAs.
• Move between locations and manage van stock.
• Travel between services, including overnight stays when needed.
