A leading company is seeking a Regional Maintenance Manager to oversee Wastewater Asset Maintenance in Sussex. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Regional Maintenance Manager to oversee our Sussex-based Wastewater Asset Maintenance teams, ensuring assets are available for use as designed within the region.
In this senior management role, you will deploy and apply the corporate maintenance strategy to ensure planned preventative maintenance schedules are followed, enabling assets to operate at their designed capacity and supporting wider Wastewater, Environmental, Financial, and Customer performance objectives.
Your key responsibilities include building an improvement plan with scheduled work programs, managing reactive capital maintenance, and evidencing spend and benefits. You will lead a motivated team, manage approximately 8 direct and 80 indirect reports, and oversee a budget of £2-15m.
Managing asset availability within regional targets and ensuring compliance with LOLER & PUWER standards is crucial. You will also focus on metrics like Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) to gauge effectiveness.
Your main accountabilities include:
Successful candidates will have strong experience in Utility, Maintenance, or Operations environments, preferably with a Mechanical or Electrical background. Leadership skills, financial acumen, and experience managing large budgets are essential.
