Alexander Steele is working with a leading food manufacturing business in Buckinghamshire.

Our client is looking for a forward-thinking Maintenance & Facilities Manager to join the business on a permanent basis. The role holder will ensure the upkeep of equipment and facilities, schedule repairs, and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure maximum operational efficiency and minimal downtime.

What’s on Offer:
  • Paying up to £60,000 + 10% bonus
  • 28 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Onsite Monday – Friday (flexibility with hours)
Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert troubleshooting and problem-solving for equipment malfunctions or failure.
  • Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring that maintenance costs stay within approved limits.
  • Analyse maintenance data and performance metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Oversee daily operations of building systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and security.
  • Provide professional leadership, support, and development to team members and other stakeholders.
  • 5+ years’ experience in maintenance/facilities management within a similar environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • A strong track record of leading and motivating teams in previous positions.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
