Job summary
CDM Recruitment Ltd in Middlesbrough is seeking a Regional H&S Manager to lead health and safety across multiple live construction projects in the North East. The role focuses on maintaining high standards and supporting project teams throughout delivery.
The successful candidate will hold NEBOSH Construction, be able to review RAMS and site plans, conduct inspections, mentor teams and promote a strong safety culture. A company vehicle and pension are provided.
Qualifications
- NEBOSH Construction qualification is required.
- Experience across multiple live projects preferred.
- IOSH or equivalent membership is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Provide regional H&S leadership across multiple construction projects.
- Carry out regular site visits, inspections and audits.
- Support site and project management teams with H&S matters.
- Ensure compliance with H&S legislation, regulations and procedures.
- Review RAMS and construction phase plans and related documents.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Identify risks and propose practical safety improvements.
- Develop and implement H&S policies and procedures.
- Monitor and report H&S performance across the region.
- Mentor H&S colleagues within the business.
- Promote a positive safety culture with operational teams.
