Allison Homes is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to support our East Midlands, Central and Eastern regions. You will provide practical advice, coaching and assurance across construction sites, regional teams and offices, working closely with site management and regional colleagues.

You will bring NEBOSH certs, UK H&S knowledge and strong reporting skills to monitor compliance and drive continuous improvement in health, safety and environment practices.

Qualificações

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent required.
• Scaffold inspection qualification or experience.
• Strong knowledge of current UK H&S legislation.
• Experience with site inspections, audits and incident investigations.
• Ability to produce clear, practical reports and safety documentation.
• Confident communication, coaching and influencing skills.
• Understanding of environmental compliance, including waste management.
• Competence in Microsoft Office and related systems.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across regions.
• Proactive, approachable, solutions-focused working style.

Responsabilidades

• Undertaking health, safety and environmental inspections and audits, producing clear reports and monitoring actions through to completion.
• Providing practical advice, coaching and day-to-day support to site management and regional colleagues.
• Investigating accidents, incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and supporting corrective action.
• Monitoring compliance with company policies, procedures and UK health and safety legislation.
• Preparing and reviewing risk assessments, safe systems of work and Construction Phase Plans.
• Attending project and safety meetings and providing clear advice.
• Maintaining standard health and safety documentation for new developments.
• Maintaining accurate records and developing the Health & Safety Hub.
• Developing toolbox talks, awareness sessions and safety bulletins.
• Producing monthly reports covering audits, actions, incidents and trends.
• Supporting environmental compliance, including waste management and spill control.
• Working across the business to improve standards while supporting objectives.
