Job summary

South Yorkshire Combined Mayoral Authority is recruiting a Housing Growth Manager to lead housing growth across South Yorkshire and support major development programmes. You will manage the South Yorkshire Housing Pipeline, work with local authorities, Homes England and partners to attract funding and deliver new housing schemes with robust governance and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering housing growth and managing large-scale housing schemes.
• Strong partnership and collaboration with public and private sector bodies.
• Excellent project management, governance and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead on enabling SYMCA's Housing Growth ambitions, including 9,000 new affordable homes over the next five years.
• Collaborate with Homes England and regional partners to maximise social housing delivery.
• Support four local authorities in bringing forward housing schemes and identify public sector interventions.
• Manage and develop the South Yorkshire Housing Pipeline and secure funding.
