Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking an Operational Trainer to deliver induction and development training across approximately 4 homes in the Wokingham, Reading and Bracknell area. This home-based role requires travel within the region and aims to ensure staff are confident and competent in person-centred care.

You will plan calendars, maintain training records, observe practice and support managers with personal development plans.

Qualifications

• C&G 7300 or equivalent qualification is required.
• Diploma Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of legislative requirements in care sector.
• Minimum 2 years training experience.
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and delivery of induction and development training across multiple homes.
• Provide practical hands-on training across subjects.
• Plan and publish training calendars.
• Maintain up-to-date employee training files.
• Observe workplace practice and coach staff.
• Arrange induction paperwork and buddy system.
• Support Home Managers with personal development plans.
• Attend external meetings when required.
