Build Recruitment partners with a rapidly expanding name in social housing property services. They seek a Regional Head of Business Development to lead work-winning activity across the Wales and West region and to drive revenue growth through hands-on deal-closing.

The role requires senior leadership in social housing or public sector contracting, a track record of securing major frameworks, and deep knowledge of procurement routes and pipeline governance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading business development in social housing or related sectors.
• Proven ability to win high-value frameworks.
• Knowledge of public procurement routes and pipeline governance.
• Ability to blend strategic planning with hands-on deal closing.

Responsibilities

• Establish a two-year outlook for prospective contracts across asset management, refurbishment, statutory compliance, and decarbonisation initiatives.
• Identify, negotiate, and secure major commercial wins and framework positions through hands-on business development rather than standard team oversight.
• Evaluate incoming tenders to filter out low-margin or unsuitable opportunities, ensuring commercial resources are dedicated solely to profitable work.
• Oversee the forward pipeline and order ledger to provide the Regional Managing Director with precise, evidence-based monthly revenue forecasts.
• Establish early engagement channels with local councils, housing providers, and industry consultants up to 18 months ahead of tender releases.
