Job summary

General Dynamics Land Systems is seeking a full-time Regional Growth Manager based in South Wales, across Oakdale and Merthyr facilities. The role reports to the Director, Strategy & Growth - UK & NATO, driving regional growth, investment, and partnerships to deliver prosperity and strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• University degree or relevant professional experience.
• Experience in business development, government relations, or economic development.
• Ability to analyse complex issues and develop action plans.
• Excellent oral and written communication; ability to influence stakeholders.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of UK government and defence policy.
• Willingness to travel UK and internationally; ability to obtain security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Lead Regional Growth activities to support strategic business objectives and operational commitments.
• Develop and implement regional growth strategies aligned to company priorities.
• Identify, monitor and assess market opportunities, investment opportunities and regional growth initiatives.
• Shape, develop and support new business opportunities within assigned regions.
• Support opportunity funnel management and strategic planning activities.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with government, industry, academia and community stakeholders.
• Network and establish partnerships to identify and develop future growth opportunities.
• Define, develop and lead strategic projects that support business growth, industrial investment and regional prosperity.
