Job summary

United Utilities is recruiting for a Regional Grounds Maintenance Operatives to deliver essential site maintenance and recovery activities across operational and non-operational land, including Davyhulme Wastewater Treatment Works, Urmston. The role covers grounds maintenance, vegetation management, soft landscaping, arboriculture and building maintenance to uphold safety and quality.

You will operate and maintain a range of machinery, support training for new starters, and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance and vegetation management.
• Ability to operate a range of machinery safely and efficiently.
• Full UK Driving Licence – Cat B is required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake grounds maintenance and related tasks across multiple sites.
• Carry out vegetation management, soft landscaping, and building maintenance.
• Operate and check a variety of plant, tools and equipment.
• Record work on corporate system and comply with safety rules.
