Job summary

United Utilities in Walton-le-Dale is seeking Regional Grounds Maintenance Operatives to maintain and recover sites across operational and non-operational land, ensuring safety and high standards at Water and Wastewater Treatment works.

You will perform grounds maintenance, vegetation management, soft landscaping and building upkeep, operating a range of machinery. You’ll contribute to site maintenance plans and adhere to health, safety and company policy while supporting trainee starters.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance and vegetation management.
• Ability to operate grounds equipment safely and efficiently.
• Capability to plan and deliver works across multiple sites.
• Strong communication and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Undertake grounds maintenance and vegetation management across sites.
• Carry out recovery works on land including vegetation removal.
• Operate and perform daily checks on plant and equipment.
• Record work on corporate systems.
• Adhere to health and safety requirements.
