Placements24 is recruiting a Regional Sales Manager for a prominent FMCG client in South Africa. You will oversee operations in the Tembisa, Gauteng region and lead a sales team to drive performance and market share.
The role requires extensive experience in sales management, channel development, and strong leadership to deliver results. A proven track record of exceeding targets and a deep understanding of retail channels is essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Minimum 6 years in progressive sales management within FMCG.
- Proven track record of regional sales targets and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve targets.
- Coach and motivate a team of sales representatives for peak performance.
- Build relationships with distributors, retailers and clients.
- Identify opportunities to expand market penetration.
- Monitor performance, analyze market trends and adjust actions.
- Manage regional budgets and P&L; oversee stock and distribution.
- Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
