Job summary

Deverell Smith Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Regional Facilities Manager for an initial 3-6 month temporary contract covering a portfolio of five residential developments across Bristol, Bath, Cardiff, and Southampton. This senior, hands-on role is not remote or single-site, and involves visiting buildings regularly while leading Building Services Managers.

You will own statutory compliance, health & safety, maintenance, mobilisation of new developments, and a regional £8m+ budget, with a focus

Qualifications

• Senior regional FM experience, preferably in residential, hotel, or PBSA.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the region and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Able to manage multi-site maintenance and mobilisation of new developments.

We're hiring a Regional Facilities Manager on an initial 3-6 month temporary contract, covering a portfolio of five residential developments across:

• Bristol
• Bath
• Cardiff
• SouthamptonThis

This is a senior, hands-on regional role - not remote, not single-site. You'll be out visiting your buildings regularly, leading a team of Building Services Managers, and making sure every community is safe, compliant and running brilliantly from day one.

• Planned & reactive maintenance
• Mobilisation of new developments
• Budget control (£8m+)
• Customer experience across all sites

What we’re looking for:

• Strong regional FM experience - ideally from a residential, hotel, or PBSA (student accommodation) background rather than commercial FM
• Someone who can hit the ground running with minimal ramp-up time
• IOSH Managing Safely + BIFM Level 4 (or working towards)
• Confident with M&E, statutory compliance, and supply chain management
• A driver with your own car, happy to travel regularly across the region
• Senior and credible enough to lead contractors, chair H&S forums, and liaise with enforcement bodies
