Job summary

Care UK is seeking a Regional Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance across our Midlands homes. Lead, plan and deliver planned, reactive and cyclical maintenance within budget while ensuring compliance and safety.

The role involves managing teams, coordinating inspections, and advising operations on planning and technical matters. Travel across the Midlands region is required to support our growing portfolio of care homes.

Qualifications

• IWFM Level 4 or above.
• Minimum 4 years of operations and maintenance management in facilities or property services.
• Financial literacy with budget management experience.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry guidelines.
• Willingness to travel across South East or Midlands region.

Responsibilities

• Be the principal contact for key business stakeholders.
• Represent Facilities Management at RD and OD meetings and homes.
• Manage and be accountable for staff as directed by Head of Facilities Management.
• Inspect homes and report on property-related issues.
• Coordinate Annual Property Inspection Reports and related actions.
• Provide training and support to staff.
• Provide planning and technical advice to Operations teams.
• Manage delivery of complex repairs and minor capital works.
• Develop supplier relationships as required by Supply Chain Manager.
• Control expenditure.
