Job summary

Care UK is seeking a Regional Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance across homes in the Midlands. You will lead a regional team, manage planned and reactive works, and ensure compliance with statutory obligations and company objectives.

The role requires IWFM Level 4, strong budgeting skills, and at least 4 years in facilities or property services management. Travel across the South East or Midlands will be required, with a focus on delivering a safe, well-maintained estate.

Qualifications

• IWFM Level 4 or above
• Financial literacy and budget management
• 4+ years of operations and maintenance management
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines
• Willing to travel across South East or Midlands

Responsibilities

• Be the principal point of contact for key business stakeholders
• Represent Facilities Management department at RD and OD meetings and homes
• Managing and being accountable for staff as directed by the Head of Facilities Management
• Manage and undertake regular, detailed inspections of the homes to ensure reporting on property issues
• Undertaking Annual Property Inspection Reports and manage actions through the supply chain and budget
• Providing training and support to Operations teams
• Providing planning and technical advice to Operations teams
• Managing the delivery of complex repairs and minor capital work
• Regular spot checks to various equipment, rooms, services etc
• Lead the implementation of Company policies and plans
• Develop supplier relationships as required by Supply Chain Manager
• Control expenditure management
