Job summary

Caron Group is seeking a Regional Maintenance Co-ordinator to join our in-house Facilities team in South/Mid Wales. You will support the delivery of a regional facilities service, read and act on reports, and supervise maintenance activities to ensure quality, safety and on-time delivery.

You will lead the maintenance programme, coordinate with Head of Facilities, and liaise with care home managers and contractors to balance priorities while maintaining high standards and compliance.

Qualifications

• Driving license required.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety legislation.
• Able to understand and apply regulations (health and safety).

Responsibilities

• Lead regional maintenance to support in-house teams with additional works, absence cover, out-of-hours support, and a programme of small maintenance and refurbishment works.
• Develop management resource plans with the Head of Facilities to meet operational needs and implement changes.
• Provide administration and general assistance to the Head of Facilities including receiving reports and presenting findings.
• Deliver the maintenance strategy through planning and organisation of resources.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors and external inspectors to ensure safety and quality.
• Ensure site health and safety compliance and oversee inductions, safety briefings, and toolbox talks.
