Job summary

Caron Group in Wales is seeking a Facilities Team Leader to lead the in-house facilities team across a cluster of care homes. You will ensure a safe, well-maintained environment, manage a maintenance schedule, and coordinate with the Head of Facilities.

The role requires solid knowledge of facilities management, leadership experience, and a practical approach to health and safety. On-site work with on-call duties, delivering improvements while supporting residents and staff.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site maintenance operatives to keep facilities in high-standard condition.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategy plans for all sites.
• Manage maintenance systems and preventative programs.
• Read and action reports from Head of Facilities.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure site safety and compliance with legal requirements.
• Provide coaching to the on-site team and promote continuous improvement.
• Attend site management meetings and report progress.
