Job summary

Caron Group is seeking a Facilities Team Leader to join our in-house Facilities team, supporting care homes across mid and south Wales. You will read reports, prioritise actions and manage maintenance across sites, with hands-on leadership of on-site operatives.

The role requires knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and health and safety regulations, plus experience leading teams and coordinating with a Head of Facilities. A proactive, safety-focused mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of Facilities Management and legislation.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Demonstrable experience as a leader.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site maintenance operatives to maintain facilities.
• Develop maintenance strategy and preventive plans.
• Ensure health and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with Head of Facilities and subcontractors.
• Read reports and prioritise actions.
• Oversee inspections and audits.
• Manage works using CMMS (Eagle) and CAFM systems.
• Ensure site safety for staff and residents.
