Job summary

Bannatyne is seeking a Regional Estates Manager to lead maintenance, refurbishment and compliance across a regional portfolio. You will work with General Managers and trusted contractors to deliver high-quality solutions while managing budgets and SLAs.

The role covers the East and South-East England with required travel. A hands-on leader will ensure safe, efficient clubs with strong energy and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in estates or facilities management.
• Strong technical knowledge of building maintenance and M&E systems.
• Proven experience managing refurbishment or construction projects.
• Solid understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Budget management and cost-control experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel and stay overnight when required.
• Experience in leisure/health club/hospitality environments desirable; NEBOSH or IOSH qualification; familiarity with CAFM/FM systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Lead refurbishment and renovation projects from concept to completion.
• Manage maintenance and project budgets to control costs while preserving quality.
• Build relationships with contractors and suppliers; monitor SLAs and performance.
• Conduct regular site visits to inspect standards and identify risks or improvement opportunities.
• Support energy, sustainability initiatives and maintain estate asset records.
