Job summary

Bannatyne is seeking an experienced Regional Estates Manager to oversee maintenance, compliance, and refurbishment across a designated region. The role requires hands-on oversight of planned and reactive works, budget control and strong contractor liaison to deliver high-quality facilities.

The position covers East/South-East England with travel as needed. A NEBOSH or IOSH qualification and extensive FM/estates background are highly valued for ensuring safe, efficient clubs for members.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in estates or facilities management.
• Strong technical knowledge of building maintenance and M&E systems.
• Proven experience managing refurbishment or construction projects.
• Solid understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Budget management and cost-control experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organised, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel and stay overnight when required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all planned and reactive maintenance, minimising downtime.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Lead refurbishment and renovation projects from concept to completion.
• Manage maintenance and project budgets, controlling costs without compromising quality.
• Build relationships with contractors and suppliers, managing SLAs and performance.
• Carry out site visits to inspect standards and identify risks or improvements.
• Act as point of contact for emergency and urgent maintenance issues.
• Support sustainability and energy-saving initiatives across the estate.
• Maintain accurate records of estate assets and works completed.
