The Role

The Regional Engagement Manager is a field-based position responsible for driving professional engagement across the North West and Midlands. The role focuses on building strategic relationships with universities, employers, and industry stakeholders to support member recruitment, retention, and development. Key duties include managing regional partnerships, supporting accredited training schemes, coordinating volunteer activities, and delivering high-quality reporting against KPIs. The position requires strong communication, stakeholder management, and flexibility to travel and work across varied time zones. Field-based role covering the North West and Midlands.

  • Builds strategic relationships with universities, employers, and stakeholders.
  • Drives member recruitment, retention, and engagement.
  • Supports professional development through accredited schemes and events.
  • Coordinates volunteer activities and regional member groups.
  • Acts as a regional ambassador for the organisation.
  • Delivers high-quality reporting against KPIs and budget responsibilities.

  • Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

Qualification

  • Ideally a minimum 3 years’ experience in member engagement, business development, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with the UK higher education sector and professional membership organisations.
  • High IT literacy and confidence using CRM systems, online conferencing tools, and Microsoft Office.
